If I could have given negative stars I would have...DO NOT RENT here! This has hands down been the worst experience in renting I have ever had- on all accounts. Do not be fooled!! The pictures are very deceptive! None of the apartments look like they are advertised, and the amenities are never open. There are tons of roaches everywhere- despite all renters paying for a weekly exterminator fee. Termites are even worse. Greystar management company is a very pathetic and none caring management company they don't care about the tenants they just want their money. I lived in Magnolia ridge apartments for awhile until the multiple sewer back ups which flooded the apart and they never cleaned up the mess it was up to the tenant not to mention the rooms that had carpet were soaked with human waste and never shampooed after the apartment flooded nor ever inspected for mold due to the flooding. There is no communication at this large apartment complex. There are nice people in the office, but they have no authority and cannot handle, correct, nor assist tenants with any slight concern or problem. Management is in Phoenix and NC but this place is not on their radar. Hot water is not provided on a consistent basis and remedies to fix things is absurdly slow at best. They may bring a plumber out to fix it, yet the plumber is not skilled and does not know what to do. So another look is requested, and the fix-it ticket ... read more

Really terrible mgmt company. I lived in one of their properties and I thought it was just the on site manager’s team that was terrible and incredibly incompetent but I’ve reached out to this company several times. They don’t answer their phones, return emails, or messages through their customer service portal. If you own property this mgmt will just take poops on it with the way they’ll take care of your tenants. I would not recommend this property to anyone . My apartment flooded on 2/16/2021 due to a pipe bursting from the winter storm . On 3/2/2021 my flooring was removed , installation was removed leaving exposed wiring , unusable sockets and cable connections . It’s now 3/29/2021 and I’m still dealing with a construction site .While I do understand that things like this may take time my issue is with Ginger the property manager and her puppets (her office staff). If I could give 0 stars I would !!! I had the worst experience with this community and the very rude, disrespectful unwilling to help people who they have "managing" the property *EXCEPT VALEETA SHES AMAZING AND SHOULD BE MANAGING*. AWFUL AWFUL OWNERSHIP!! Totally disappointed in this complex (Avana Desert View). Everything is decent until move out. I completed paperwork per their request for move out. They did not send out my final invoice to the address I provided and they are now demanding payment when they are in violation. Don’t rent here or anywhere where Greystar is the owners. Too bad because their onsite staff is very friendly.
