The English Inn is a great hotel! I was impressed with the friendly staff and how immaculate everything was from my room all the way to the parking lot where you couldn't find a scrap of paper or a cig butt anywhere. The breakfast buffet will rival any hotels included breakfast...any day! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because both my husband and I thought the beds were way too soft. Other than that, I'd stay there again!

We stayed at the English Inn for 4 nights. I grew up spending summers in Charlottesville and I liked that it wasn't s huge chain like the others (holiday inn, etc). Our stay was great. Excellent and filling breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. My son loved the fresh bakes (cookies) in the afternoon and enjoyed using the pool.
