I bought an engine off Adam in Engine components.. he promised me every engine was tried and tested.. complete bull!!! I received my engine my mechanic fitted it and it was far from a sound engine. At this stage I paid to fit my new engine and now I had to pay to get it taken out and post it back to them... They have a clue of what they are sending out.
The company always worth to have a deal with, perfect communication, nice running engines which never left our garage behind. Affordable prices. My first place to go, highly recommended.
Very bad experience, almost SCAM. They sent me a dirty engine for my Vauxhall Astra with broken camshafts and heavy carbon on the engine. They lied and said the engine is about 65,000 miles, although it looks above 100,000 miles. My car did not go back to normal and always stops with engine indicator amber. They refused to give me a full refund for this nasty engine and I had to sell my car at a cheaper price than the market.
I purchased a Ford engine from Engine Components Ltd in February through my local garage who were going to fit the engine. The engine that was supplied had part of the engine number removed by an angle grinder. I contacted Engine Components to get more details about the donor vehicle, but I was fobbed off and they never got back to me as promised. They never returned my calls. Adam found me an engine for a 2006 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.9. 79000 usage for £800 delivered. I had problems finding a garage to fit it which took a bit of time. But Adam understood set it aside for me and dispatched when I was ready. Engine runs like new and starts first time every time great service really happy I would recommend this company on this experience alone. Thanks for keeping me mobile.
