I have the opportunity to work with the ownership group directly and I can tell you that behind the curtain they care about their customers and the people that work for them.

The team at ESP was awesome - we bought solar right before the COVID outbreak and were worried that we would have significant delays in getting our solar installed. Brad was awesome and made sure that we were informed every step of the process. There were some city delays that were unavoidable but we expected that. We would absolutely recommend using ESP and are a happy family with solar!

ESP has been our installer since January of 2020. I've worked with 6 different solar installers prior, & never have I found a company as efficient as them. We are exclusive with ESP & have over 700 installs with them this year. Top in class.

BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS ENERGY SERVICE PARTNERS (ESP) UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY AND TIME TO BURN AND ARE A GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT. You may eventually get a working product but you will go through a LONG, HELLISH PROCESS to get there. We signed our contract in October 2019, paid in full in February and are not 100% complete in October 2020, and that is with persistent follow ups. Definitely STEER CLEAR IF YOU LIVE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA because they do not have expert staff up here. You will have to wait an extra long time ... read more

We reached out to the customer directly last week but were unable to get in touch and haven't heard back. We eagerly anticipate being able to resolve the customer's concerns.

My opinion of the service I've received so far. ESP has failed the Sunrun Solar company. Unprofessional service with no guarantee!!!! Sunrun solar sold me a system back in June 2020. A third party contractor from Energy Service Partners came out to install 28th July 2020. The two contractors arrived late complaining there company should have put them up in a hotel. They had to access the electrical panel to add the system. They had to move the switches to different locations in the panel in order for the solar to be added.... read more

Business response:

In reviewing this project and the homeowner's dissatisfaction as a whole, it is abundantly clear that ESP did not live up to our high standards of excellence. To address the concerns with the installation itself, rearranging breakers on the service panel is a normal acceptable practice in the solar industry, to allow for a solar breaker to be installed. There is rarely a need to inconvenience the homeowner by terminating all the power to the house to rearrange or to install a new circuit breaker. While we do have a policy i... read more

We had 18 panels put on our roof, when the installers installed the panels, 6 where scratched. At no point did the workers advised of the damaged caused. I then called the company various times emailed management as well and finally spoke to a manager in the warranty department. This lady was finally able to care care of the issue in regards to the scratched panels, but from upper management, have not received a simple phone call nor email. When the panels where installed, no one ever advised us the we had to still be conser... read more
