RecommendedAfter getting dad home he improved. I think he just needed to get in his own bed and recliner. At first I was upset but after getting him home he started getting better. I think he might have been a little depress about being over in the rehab and not at home. Thank you to all of the staff and helping daddy.
This place is very dirty , and the management really sucks !!!
My mother was over medicated by the doctors her. She arrived on 4 medications and within 7 days they increased her to 7 and two were opioids. Upon her "release in good condition" we took her back to MMH and she was admitted for 5 days to detox from all the new meds. The ER knew exactly she was over medicated. The new meds give by Dr. Vogel at HeathSouth were removed. None of her other doctors were advised. Very sad situation.
great place . In from San angelo . had my stroke three week ago . Couldn't move my left side the therapist worked with me at my pace . I have the use of my arm and leg back. Love this place . Can't think of any thing bad to say . but alot of good . Thanks health south for your compassion and the hard work that this facility put with me . and to caring staff thank you.

Let me start off by saying the staff here are awesome!!! Special shout outs to drew, Susie, Kelsey, Joanna ,Kayla!They went above the call of duty with my mother agatha!!!!! Very attentive , loving and concerned! I was able to. E at peace knowing this staff has a passion for what they do!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may god continue to bless you guys!!! This facility is awesome �����
My dad has been in this facility 3 times now. The first two visits he really loved it. Said the staff was very nice and very helpful. He said "that he loved the way they treated him & took care of him!" His only negative comment was the food, but of course that's nothing new. If it's not fried in lard he doesn't like it. But this time around which he has only been there a little over 24 hours, he has fallen, we were given the wrong information about transportation to appointments because of his current situation & not being ... read more
