This was my 2nd time here. Its so beautiful. Got a really good workout. And enjoyed meditating once we got to the top. Will definitely come back next month.
Beautiful Place!!! The staff drives around and makes sure that your alright throughout the day, which I thought was awesome!! I am dead today from exploring but it was worth the pain!! Gorgeous views through out!!
Was there in '83 before there was the improvements it has today. Walked straight up it with a loaded backpack without zig zagging !
Walked loop trail, bad idea with this hot weather definitely wait till its cooler for that much walking. Stayed for meteor shower. Didn't walk up to dome but stayed in lower section just pass gazebo. Took blankets and pillows and lied there . In total me n my brother probably saw about 24 meteors. Also a park ranger and police park spoke to us and we're very friendly and helpful.
Is so beautiful place I will make my saving to have a trip out there. Soon
My best friend and I went this past weekend. Beautiful park. There was a line to get inside at 930, but it moved quickly. Folks in gift shop were mildly friendly, everyone else we met and spoke with were very friendly. We took the tour and the guide had lots of info and was patient with us. We only made it half way up, it was already very hot and we are not hikers. Lol we both had a great time though and I highly recommend it ....just maybe in the fall or spring.
We love a nice day at Enchanted Rock! Go early, leave early, that way you dont get the throngs of people with no etiquette.
If you find yourself close to Enchanted Rock State Park and enjoy the hiking then this is a must. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of enjoying this park over the weekend and we truly enjoyed all it had to offer. We only did a day hike and toured the Loop Trail because our dog came along and he truly enjoyed himself as well. The sights were amazing and peaceful. I took my four year old Weimaraner for a hike this morning on Loop Trail at Enchanted Rock State Park. The recent rains has all the streams flowing well and there were tons of wild flowers everywhere. I'd highly recommend arriving early and getting a good joke in.
