Great park. The hike is no joke, make sure your ready for it by wearing proper shoes (no flip flops or sandals). Bring at minimum three bottles of water per person and sunscreen. You will love the feeling of accomplishment and the views once you make it to the top. It's awesome.

We loved hiking up the Enchanted Rock! It was so beautiful from the top! We could see for miles!
1975 late summer I spent hours on this rock, and got to know the cactus quite well. Nice get away spot that provides many great climbs for both novice and highly skilled. HooYah!

Spent many a weekend in my youth training for mountain rescue. being southern California boy nice to see something with some altitude in Texas gorgeous spot.

My husband and I have been coming to this park for years and now we bring our kids and invite friends. It's a great way to leave the city behind and enjoy the best of what the natural Hill Country has to offer. The trails are fun and different each visit. There is plenty of wildlife for those who are paying attention. The scenery offers tons of photographic opportunity. Bring your water and sunscreen. Wear your best athletic shoes and make sure you eat well before you come. You'll burn calories, even on the easiest trails
