There were feces on the floor in my room. On a lighter note, when maintenance came to clean it up the man said "Oh, [expletive]" and that was true both literally and as a figure of speech.

My sister and I checked in around 9pm. Upon entering our room we saw the thermostat set to 78 degrees. We each had our sons with us (8 months and 3). It was entirely too hot. I lowered the temp to 66 to try and get it to come down - waited an hour and it still was 78. Called the front desk and they said they’d send someone up. Waited an hour and no one came. Great place to stay. I stay here every time I’m in New York. Very nice atmosphere and even better staff.... comfy rooms and great bar and lots of restaurants around!

This hotel is lovely. The staff are very friendly including the concierge. My room was stunning and large overlooking the city. This hotel is right next to Central Park and by a subway so you can easily get about. Would highly recommend

my husband & I celebrated NYE at the Empire rooftop and it was absolutely fabulous! Gourmet food selection, best cosmopolitan in NY were prepared amazingly by Toni!he was such a sweetheart! Entertainment was faultless. Security and all staff super friendly! a special shout out to Sid ! we could not recommend this place enough ! the best NYE party ever!
