Where to begin! The "queen" beds are actually full size. The rooms have not space to walk, store anything, unpack, or use as a counter. The bathrooms need updating and the showers get water all over! There's no space in the mini fridge because they've stocked it hoping that you will buy there over priced crap and the "desk" space has all the other "amenities" for purchase. I can confirm the power/water incident this weekend. I am saddened and disturbed that the hotel has yet to respond publicly to the safety concerns that multiple reviews mention. Could have been tragic outcomes. Would not feel comfortable/safe returning to the Empire.
Excellent staff. Excellent location. Include the wifi in the room charge already and quit the nickel/dime image you create by charging extra for it. Too many reviewers complain about that and you can solve it pretty easily. Did in mention the staff is excellent?
It was ok until the power and water went out in the middle of the night. No negative opinions of the Staff. They tried their best to help but from a customer standpoint we are not getting what we pay for. Having to pay go get to a bathroom was not acceptable.
