When I was 10 years old, around 5-6 months after my mother had died of a terminal illness, I was referred to Cahms and I had two sessions. In both, I only got to talk about my name and who I lived with. I never got asked why I was depressed and why I wanted to kill myself. Both times, they disregarded any problems I had. After the second session, I was told "You're fine, you don't need any more sessions" and that was it. Absolutely awful service.
