What a “gem” of a home I found for my mum. Lovely staff and a well run home with lots of activities for the residents. My mum looks 10yrs younger since living there; all the stress and anxiety has left her life now she is being properly cared for. Thank you Elrio Manor.

My beloved dad spent the last 13 months of his life as a resident at Elroi. Dad died peacefully at the home 3 week's ago. The care staff are amazing and very, very kind and patient. They help the family through a very difficult time, especially when you have teenage boys who find the adjustment to dealing with dementia all very upsetting and confusing, they were more than happy to spend time explaining and sometimes reassuring my boys which was wonderful. I'm not rating the care at elroi manor but I'm rating the level of professionalism from management , when completing a dbs with the company to start employment I was asking for confirmation of costs to be rudely Messaged by Ashany stating she doesn't have to justify this with me .... if I'm handing over money I want to know what for seen as I have never been charged this much for a dbs , not to be talked to like something she had stepped in ... this is probably why there was no care staff in on my visit ... good luck finding... read more

OUR MOTHER SPENT HER LAST FEW MONTHS AT THIS EXCELLENT HOME. SHE CAME OUT OF HOSPITAL IN A VERY POOR STATE BUT WAS ENCOURAGED IN ALL WAYS TO WALK AGAIN AND SOCIALISE. THE STAFF WERE PROFESSIONAL, KIND AND HELPFUL. REGULAR SOCIAL EVENTS ARE HELD AND RELATIVES ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. MOST ENJOYABLE FOR ALL CONCERNED. IN SHORT AN EXCELENT CARE FACILTY WHICH MANAGED MOTHER AT HER MOST DEMANDING WITH CARE KINDNESS AND PATIENCE.

My 92 year old Dad spent the last few days of his life at at Elroi Manor when his physical and mental state made him incredibly demanding around the clock . The staff were just magnificent particularly the Manager Ashani who is quite simply an angel - the Sister Teresa of Wincanton ! Whilst the premises themselves could do with a refurb I cannot speak highly enough of the care Dad received in his final days. Thank you so much on behalf of the grieving family . Rob Cordery
