RecommendedStaff was caring and competent. Only problem was that I had to wait 7 hours after surgery for them to find me a room.
I had a terrible experience in the ER, after I was taken to a room, the doctor didn’t even stop by until after I was told I was being discharged. I came in after fearing that I had a throat infection and the fact that I had extreme debilitating pain on my left hip and leg. I couldn’t even walk properly. This doctor didn’t check me or anything, some nurse came in before her and told me that I had strep so they were going to discharge me. The doctor wasn’t in the room with me for even 3 minutes. I love this hospital and been patient +32 years. However today I’ve experienced my first disappointment. Today I’m scheduled for a colonoscopy and the doctor is running 1 1/2 behind schedule. When we are late as patients, we are charged. I’m wondering if I can get my 100.00 copay returned. Furthermore the prep work not eating 24 hours was bad enough. I’m just very disappointed
The emergency room visit was quick, the staff polite and helpful. The ER attendant once in a bed was informative as to what they would be doing for your care. once on the floor the nurses introduced themselves along with the sides. They made me comfortable and continuing with the information on what was next for me. The rooms are beautiful and I felt like I was in a hotel. I was well cared for after knee surgery. The nurses and support staff tried to give me the help I needed to begin my recovery. They were always cheerful and supportive.
The staff is very helpful with getting you check in.
