I had a procedure today. The only information I received was in MyChart. No day before phone call. At my procedure I expressed how nervous and anxious I was and the only thing they did for me was give me a stress ball. I guess the tears rolling down my cheek meant nothing. I work as a RN and understand that every patient has different needs and the hospital I work at does a great job using different modalities to decrease pain and anxiety. I felt nobody cared. The only reason I went to Edward is because of my HMO.

RecommendedMy brother had out-patient surgery at Edward Hospital. He was high risk since he had 3 strokes last year. The hospital took very good care of him and was patient with him, despite his speech disability. His primary nurse was outstanding.

From the time I walked into the heart hospital until I left the hospital, I had an excellent experience♥️♥️AWESOME STAFF!! AWESOME NURSES! AWESOME DOCTORS!
