I have been going to Dr. Mabry for several years. She has a new Optometrist (Matt) that always has a smile on and is willing to bend over backwards to take care of you. I've struggled with contacts for years and for the first time I am able to wear bifocal contacts because of him. Dr. Mabry is amazing and explains things very well. Mabry did not fully explain details about the condition of my retina, which I later learned from another ophthalmologist. She did refer me for a retinal peel, which is a risky procedure, and not necessary at this time. The surgeon to whom she referred me has 3 offices, one of which looks like a low-end vet clinic (from the outside, I didn't go in); that gave me the impression he might be too eager to operate on my eye, whether or not advisable. Consequently, I do not feel I got the best care and advice from Dr. Mabry.

My experience with Dr. Mabry is always excellent. Chattanooga is lucky to have such a well trained eye surgeon. I found her by getting a recommendation from a surgical tech. These people work in surgery centers day in and day out watching surgeons work. There really isn't a more qualified recommendation. I appreciate that she is calm and takes her time to fully answer any of my questions and put me at ease.

This Doctors eye surgery doing a piggy Back lense on my right eye caused me to have to have a CORENA TRANSPLANT in Birmingham,Al. This was in 2017 could not have the transplant until 2018.My eye was severely damaged had to wait until the Dr. at the Eye Foundation felt like it was safe for me to go ahead with the transplant. All because of her surgery she performed on me. My name is Cathy Stiefel.

Dr. Mabry is very personable and knowledgeable. She knows how to put you at ease during examination. Her staff is very professional and helpful in dealing with patients, insurance and prescription services. Highly recommend her.
