Food was again excellent, service is friendly and the price was reasonable. This pub deserves to be busier in my opinion.
I can only give one star across the board as having booked a 21st birthday meal for my daughter the week before when it came to the evening of the meal we were informed when we got there that they had no booking for us and that they had sent the kitchen staff home at 4pm! Let me also give some context, the meal was for 17 people, when I booked it on the phone I was not told that they would need a deposit or that we would have to pre order meals. This local pub is very community minded, running a social group for seniors every Tuesday morning which appeared to be very popular. I visited several times and the atmosphere was always very friendly, with locals smiling at me. I did think the drinks were expensive, but I am not from the UK, so maybe that is just the cost of drinks in England!
An amazing pub with kindhearted staff especially Michelle cass and Lee! Would 1000% reccomend to anyone in the area :)
