About this business
El Rancho was built in 1948 by the Jahnke family as a trading post. They sold the building in November 1953 to Mildred and Ray Zipprich, Milwaukee Wisconsin pie distributors. Their daughter Donna and son-in-law Paul McEncroe joined them in February 1958 and operated it, with their children, until 1988. This place has been remodeled and is just beautiful ! very clean and the food was absolutely Delicious ! the bartender and server named drew Really made this place hop ! he was fast and fun ...he told us of all the beers that were brewed there and all the food choices and specials 1 I totally give this place a two thumbs up !
I was delighted when El Rancho reopened. We stop to eat there after skiing. Great staff....want to meet the owner in the ball cap next ski day....great food and beer. The setting could not be nicer. I don't really want anyone to know what a warm, mountainy place this is! Don't take the table near the fireplace. It's mine!
I was there yesterday and my husband and I enjoyed a meal dinner there really is a wonderful place and eating delicious and services finest Recommend to visit the place because it inevitably visit him again

What a great place. Had a wonderful dinner there tonight. The food was excellent and the fireplace and view out their window was warm and magical.
