About this business
El Rancho was built in 1948 by the Jahnke family as a trading post. They sold the building in November 1953 to Mildred and Ray Zipprich, Milwaukee Wisconsin pie distributors. Their daughter Donna and son-in-law Paul McEncroe joined them in February 1958 and operated it, with their children, until 1988. Great beers, great views, great space, great people. Some great music coming up on Fridays too!
First time here! Awesome BBQ and great beers. I had the green chili pulled pork nachos and the Bridge Club beer. Such a great place! This will be my go-to on the way back down the hill from now on.

A year ago I don't believe I would have been recommending this restaurant. Boy have things changed! Great food, amazing beer and a gorgeous view
Place is over priced and their food is disgusting. Their beer was decent, I only took a sip because we were heading back into Denver, but I had their buffalo burger and it had no flavor and looked like a pressed patty from McDick’s. If you want to pick up a growler of beer, do that, but don’t waste your money on their food!!!
Every time I try to go have dinner, no matter what time is posted the kitchen is always closed.
