El Chile Cafe y Cantina is a chic, yet unpretentious hangout. The walls and the artwork displayed around the restaurant is tasteful. What's equally tasty is the tortilla chips with avocado, salsa and fish. They do have the usual fare of tacos and enchiladas. If you're game, also attempt the pear margarita or the tejas tea. The Happy Hour is only on weekdays but you wouldn't know the difference. El Chile Cafe y Cantina is all about having fun, is a vibrant place and is unlike most other eateries that are Tex-Mex.

Best Mexican in Town – Absolutely fabulous! ... and just opened so bound to only get better. I've been 5 times already...Try the Relleno, any of the Enchiladas, Flautas, Tortilla Soup and at lunch, the Puffy Tacos. Drinks are great and very reasonably priced. Prickly Pear Marg. is a must. Go now before word gets out on this Gem! How will they seat everyone once the masses find out?! The art shows classful taste, the music is perfectly picked and the landscaping, though just getting established, is perfect. Notice the Chile P... read more
food AND atmosphere, superb – this restaurant lacks nothing in atmosphere. indeed, for casual dining, it is an excellent choice. chic with bright colors and original art on the walls, fresh flowers on the table, and outstanding service, such offerings defines a superb atmosphere. add to that an outstanding menu. chef's of jeffrey's fame have found a home in this cocina and they have elevated mexican cuisine to easily compete with san miguel -- at half the price. cross town for this rendezvous? absolutely.
Unbelievable! – What an experience. Went once. Will definitely be back. The place is the old Sacred Cup but hard to recognize. Beautiful colors, nice art, and fantastic music. Drinks: started with a Michelada in a 20 oz chilled Schooner and finished with a Prickly Pear Margarita. Both were great. Dinner: Pollo con mole. Amazing. I thought I was at Fonda until I got the bill (dinner under $10.00). To top it off they hand roll their flour tortillas! The GM told me all the ingredients are fresh and from the taste of things he w... read more
