Pioneers of handmade pork tenderloin, homemade root beer and hand-dipped onion rings, the Edwards Drive-In is reminiscent of a old school diner. Located near downtown Indianapolis, this little drive-thru restaurant is known across the city, for serving some of the most amazing sandwiches and fast food. A divey ambiance coupled with friendly staff, makes this restaurant perfect for a casual lunch with family or friends. A good range of desserts are also available to finish off your meal on a sweet note.

Very good and classic food for a dinner, enjoyed it a lot
Congratulations to Tom Edwards' children and grandchildren! The Dog n Suds / Edwards Drive-In has been a staple in our lives since we (classmates, BGHS, '63) were in Junior High. It was "cool" to head out to the Dog n Suds on Friday nights and on the weekends. One of the most incredible things about the 60 years of this restaurant are the invaluable work experience and life lessons learned by the thousands of kids who have spent time cooking the food, taking orders, serving the outside customers, and cleaning the tables and ... read more
My grandma used to bring me here growing up. All I can say is nostalgic. It looks almost the same as it did 20+ years ago. The food is great, but the atmosphere makes you feel like you're at an old drive in. The tenderloin is to die for (and it's HUGE). Battered onion rings best in the city. And homemade root beer is the best of all time. And comes in a frosty mug. Come here. Unless you don't like great food in a great atmosphere with great service and oldies and neon signs.
Took my Dad For His Birthday.. Great Place To Eat... Wish Their Was Some Older Cars to Look At..
Was just driving around with my wife and I asked her where she'd like to have lunch. Her immediate answer was EDWARDS! She wanted the tenderloin and a root beer float.
Mediocre HUGE tenderloin sandwich - some of the best root beer I've ever tasted. Fun place.
