Dr Gelber was recommended to me when my long-time psychiatrist moved to another state. It was rough for me, as I had an excellent rapport with my previous doctor and any replacement had big shoes to fill. I was dreading the change, but Dr Gelber has proven to be quite observant, kind, fun, interesting (I rarely go a meeting without learning something) and incredibly responsive to prescription requests. Plus: after several years of getting to know him, I can honestly say he's a good human being.
