The worst experience I've ever had buying a car! I've been in there on a Friday(two weeks ago) and payed the deposit for a car to be bringed on Monday for me to see.Been there the following Monday and they never bringed the car and the manager was saying that I have to pay for it upfront as it is beeing brought from Aberdeen.As I've been assured I'll get the car on Monday I just decided not to wait another cpl of days and I asked to be refunded.I just couldn't pay for a car without seeing it first!I got a car in the very sam... read more
I bought a Transit Custom 2019 from the garage in 2023. The van was looking really nice, probably too nice, so when I asked why it was so tidy, I was told it have a ceramic coating. On the day when we went to collect the van, there were no extras like we had been promised, such as floor mats and a roof rack, etc. The van is running very well mechanically, but after 3 to 4 months after the car wash, the lacquer started peeling off. Non refundable Reservation Deposit?? I looked online and saw a VW Golf that I really wanted and called up to place a reservation deposit as I wouldn’t be able to view it during the week and it was a 4 hour drive away. I wasn’t made aware of the fact that the deposit was Non-Refundable and have never come across another garage that have this policy so didn’t think to ask.
