I recently was seen by Dr. David Richardson as my right leg was swollen and considerably larger than my left leg. I tried to see my local GP that morning but there were no appointments available. My instincts told me to go private that morning and told my husband I was going to find a private GP and see if I could be seen that day. He saved my life and my vacation. I caught a cold which turned into pneumonia and he was able to quickly diagnose me, prescribed antibiotics and within a few days I was back to normal. So grateful. Office was clean and the staff was so kind. Highly recommend.
In the past, with a hysteroscopy and my first copper coil fitting, I have had fairly traumatic experiences involving unexpected levels of pain, cramping and most embarrassingly vasovagal reactions. On explaining this to Dr Richardson at Edinburgh GP during a routine appointment he recommended I book in to change my (now overdue!) coil with Dr Shona Williamson.
