After being disappointed at another bike shop who said they could assemble my grandsons bike in one week, but after a week and a day said it would take another week. It his birthday tomorrow so I called Mary at Edgebrook Cycle and they did for $5 less in a few hours. They had two bicycle mechanics working at the same time. The other shop had a help wanted sign for experienced bicycle mechanic. I should have known then that the other shop may be behind on work.
We got a Burley trailer from them and it flipped over twice! In the first ride! The staff was shocked. Apparently the one defective one was located there. We took it back and the staff recreated the accident and worked with Burley on the warranty. They tested all their floor models to make sure that they were functioning correctly. In the end we walked away with a new trailer that is safe for my daughter to ride in. Just amazing staff and service.
Bought a new bike today. Incredibly knowledgeable staff! Walked me through the bike, set her up for me and really left me with a great experience.
Jim was very helpful and enthusiastic with the service. He got our two old bikes up and running with no sales pressure. We just moved to the area and we will be back!

I decided a few months ago that I'd start riding to work. Luckily, the weather has been terrible so I've had an excuse not to, but that's not the point. I needed a bike and didn't really know anything about them so I ended up buying a used road bike online. Long story short, it turned out to be beat to hell and wasn't going to get me anywhere, not dependably anyway.
