This bike shop is THE BEST!!! My son was having a lot of issues with his BMX bike and I brought it to 2 different bike places.... no one could fix the issue! Well they helped me that day and fixed it in less then 2hrs. They were very patient with me and all my "mom safety questions"!! I won't go to any other place again! In fact I can't wait to take my 7yr old for her big girl bike there!!

I've been around bikes for a long time and have been to many bike shops. Edgebrook Cycle is by far one of the best shops you will find. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and very much interested in your overall biking experience, not just "getting the sale". Chris at the shop recently helped me decide on a mountain bike for my son. Called earlier in the day and spoke to Jim, explained situation with my son's bicycle. Nothing major, but the chain was very loose, brakes were malfunctioning, etc. He said to bring it by any time and he'd be happy to take a look at it. We came by later in the day and Jim did a complete once-over on the bike and fixed everything it needed, and then some. One of the end caps on the handlebar was missing and he popped on a new one. I've been to many bike shops throughout the city and it is my opinion that this local ma & pa shop have the best selection of bicycles. I've been coming to this shop as a kid when they used to be at another location just around the corner and they may be stubborn at times but they're not stupid. I checked out 5-6 other bike shops just before buying my new bike just to keep them honest and sure enough they had a better bike selection at lower prices than anywhere else I could find. No Complaints!

Came in with a flat tire today not knowing what to expect because of some of the reviews. Nate, one of the mechanics, was really nice and offered to change the tube for me. Explained many of the reasons for my ongoing flat problems and inspected the tire before putting the tube in. Tube price was decent. 15 bucks for the change. Little pricey but I didn't leave disappointed. Will go again.

I don't know what Alexander is talking about. I just bought a bike here and the employees could not have been nicer. Very knowledgeable staff and helped me get an awesome bike that's perfect for my needs. I highly recommend this bike shop.

Edgebrook Cycle is great. Located in a convenient location and owned by a nice family. The service department is super quick and Nate, the mechanic explained what my bike needed without over complicating things. Overall, the staff is very friendly and professional. I will be referring this shop to my friends and family.

I've stopped in here with old bikes many times over the years and always come in expecting to be gouged. But it never happens. The staff tells me exactly what my bike needs--no more, no less--and always goes above and beyond with customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for honest and cheerful service.

When I was looking for a bike, I specifically wanted to go to Edgebrook Cycle as its close and I like supporting local businesses. Also, my wife got her bike there and she had a good experience. However, being a good Yelper, I came here to look at the comments and was disappointed to see a number of low reviews. Based on those reviews, I almost went somewhere else but decided to see what it was like for myself. I'm glad that I did.
