Selection - the bikes here seem to be of good quality. Repairs - they put on two new tires for a garage sale bike I bought, and did a fine job.

On Sunday I found myself stranded with a flat tire and no extra tube near the entrance to the North Branch Trail. After an unsuccessfull attempt at patching the tire myself I called a friend for help to find out if there were any bike shops nearby. Turns out I was about four blocks away from Edgebrook Cycle and Sport, but they had closed ten minutes previously. My friend then called them to ask if they would stay open a bit late to help me out. I think this is our 3rd or 4th bike purchase at your store. I like that it is a neighbour hood store, but is equivalent in pricing with the bigger bike stores. You have a good selection and I know if I would have a problem we could quickly stop by and get it fixed.

I was looking for a bike to buy and went to a couple large stores in the Chicago area (i.e. Dick's). I was also looking into trading a few old bikes laying around but everywhere I went, no trades, no store credit, nothin. Edgebrook cycle was the last place left in my area that I hadn't gone to but I was told not to go because of "high prices and small selection."
