RecommendedFor our 25th anniversary, we wanted to stay somewhere with easy access to Gatlinburg and it’s amenities. What we found was a wonderful, friendly, and caring staff at the River Terrace! They made our stay even better by presenting us with balloons, candy, a card signed by the staff, and a gift certificate to celebrate our milestone. We we were pleased with our room but the staff made our experience over the top!!!
Booked for a weekend family getaway..... checked in, got to the room and immediately started looking for another hotel with vacancies!!! This place is horribly disgusting. Had to stay there one night before getting into the Marriott for the rest of our stay. All clothes and shoes that were worn while in that room at the River Terrace were trashed. If you have booked here... Cancel and find anywhere to stay! Your car or camping under a bridge would be better then this place!
This hotel was very unacceptable I will never book here again. The rooms where nasty the bed I had was broke the walls where peeling the ceiling looked like it had been leaking the bathroom water pressure was not up to par. It took an hour to get into our rooms, after they had to move our rooms. The doors to the rooms you could hardly open and closed the blinds where broke the rooms are out dated and needs to be updated.
