I cannot sing the praises of the entire team that took care of me at Eden!! From the moment I walked into the ER, the doctors, the care team. The most compassionate team of health care workers I’ve ever experienced! Even the transporters, shout out to Carl with a “C” Dr. Adan, your kindness brings me tears each time I remember how you comforted me after telling me what my scan revealed. Every nurse on the 5th floor. Rafael, Ingrid Deb. And all the others thank you!! I’m so grateful to you all.
I visited the ER Department 3 times in October 2024. I was experiencing severe stomach cramps--they were unbearable, and I couldn't eat nor keep water down. My first two visits weren't so good. I was in a hallway for hours on my first visit, and the problem wasn't resolved. I went back a 2nd time, and the physician was much better than the first -- she did treat me for what we thought it could, the treatment was just ineffective. Came in as a german tourist. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Everything is well organized.
I was sent to the ER from urgent care as a precaution because the doctor at urgent care felt my symptoms was severe enough to warrant getting checked out in the ER despite I was still able to walk (slowly) to stay within how fast I'm breathing (slow). I was seen immediately by the ER doctor and was given proper treatments. They can see I had breathing problems, but I was on the hospital bed scrolling my phone. Some good news. I’ve been at Eden twice in the last 24 hours and I have had the pleasure of talking to 6 security guards. One was even on break in the parking lot. Every one of them was compassionate, polite, professional, and empathetic. I felt unrushed, supported, and cared for. These weren’t just good moods and smiles. Six different people spoke to me with such understanding and compassion that I had to write a review.
