Picking up a car in Fort William was a pretty straight forward affair. The pickup location for me was their auto dealership on the North Road, which I walked to from our in-town hotel. Paperwork was easy and service was cordial and professional! Driving a stick shift with the left hand on the left side of the road over single tracks is always a blast. Very efficient. Good car, and good communication. One note - we booked in Fort William, where there is no office, so it could be made clearer to turn up at the meeting point as punctually as you can, unlike most rentals where you just pick an approximate pick up time. But, having worked out that would be the case, the pickup went very smoothly, and the absence of an office wasn’t a problem at all for pickup or drop off.
