RecommendedI have needed to use the Referral Center twice now. Last year my Great Dane, Shark needed very extensive cherry eye surgery. I was very pleased with the outcome and so far it has been successful. Just recently I needed to utilize the emergency services for my other Dane. We drove the 3 hours to get there, arriving at 8pm. I was VERY pleased with everyone I talked to, especially Dr. Robbie, who was excellent! He was very on the ball with running tests & the right treatment which saved my dogs life. They do wonderful work.

RecommendedI have been bringing my teacup Yorker here for 2 years. They are WONDERFUL!!! Chrissy is THEE BEST!! She is so helpful and friendly. Dr. King is Cookies doctor and she diagnosed her with a mildly enlarged heart and a murmur and borderline pulmonary hypertension. She was given pimobendan and has been in it since. Mind you she is only 5 pounds. She had her follow up today and there is no progression of her heart condition! I am so grateful to everyone at CARES!

RecommendedI am a veterinarian, and my own cat needed an ultrasound for a case of acute renal failure. The ultrasonographer we typically use was unable to come out to my clinic. I called my colleagues at VSH and they got my cat in to see the ER team and to have an ultrasound same-day. I refer multiple patients here every week, and while being the one with the sick patient is never easy, the entire staff treated me exactly as I know they do for everyone I refer here--with respect, compassion, and professionalism. Thank you, VSH!!!
We used to go to Hope for every single emergency and specialty visit - the doctors are amazing- but after speaking with the very rude and condescending staff today our three dogs and cat will be going elsewhere for their specialty and emergency care. Even our local vet who communicated with them today couldn’t believe the unprofessionalism and lack of empathy these front desk women have on the emergency line.
