We’ve been regular patrons for many many years, and do agree the food is great. However tonight’s experience was very disappointing. It was my husbands birthday. We called ahead and they said no wait. It is a 30 minute drive for us. Arrived at 6:30 and they said all tables were full so 45 minute wait. We put our name down and sat to wait. At 6:40 they came out front and told us they had just made the decision to close at 7 because they were “so slow” so we would have to leave. We were shocked. We just had dinner and let me tell you this was the most accommodating pleasant restaurant we have been to since the pandemic. We will continue to come as often as we can. The Happy hour is the best in town and they treat us like family 🤤.
