My friends and I had dinner Friday night August 25th at East by Southwest. There were four of us and we had 530 dinner reservations. We needed to leave by 7 to see a play at the Arts Center. We ordered our meal and we're surprised by the strange arrival of the courses. It started out okay when they brought our appetizer but then one of our dinner guests received her entree before her salad. As Talk of the town, I thought I'd give it a go, but this may have been the first time I've ever wanted to walk out of a restaurant. After I grabbed the attention of my aloof waiter, to ask for a straw for my drink, he proceeded to scratch his bread, grab and unwrapped straw and pop it in my drink himself. Gross. On top of that my food came to both my husband and I cold. We also failed to receive the soup that to come with our order.
