had issues with rude receptionists, hardly any compassion shown even when following all guidance and filling out triage forms correctly and being polite. I would strongly advise going somewhere else if you are suffering from a medical issue that will take more than one appointment
I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH INCOMPETENCE WHEN IT COMES TO HEALTHCARE AND BOOKING APPOINTMENTS. I TRIED TO GET AN APPOINTMENT LAST FRIDAY FOR THIS WEEK BUT WAS TOLD THAT I CANNOT DO THAT. We moved here from the Manchester area about 14 months ago. Both my wife and I have had several interactions with doctors, nurses and admin staff and have been pleased with our experience so far. One minor glitch with a sample that seems to have disappeared somewhere in the system. Online queries, triage and appointment requests have always been dealt with promptly. I fully understand that other people’s experiences may differ, but we have no reason to complain about our treatment so far.
Is there a problem with the reception staff being polite with patients? It cost nothing to say 'please' and 'thank you'. Maybe trying to look as if you are enjoying your work would be a positive gesture as well. Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself!!!!!
