Never rent from AMC!!! We moved into this complex – Apartments on the Green located in SLC, Utah in August of 2018. When we did the apartment tour, they only had the model available to look at and it was absolutely not an option to see the unit we were moving into because there were current residents occupying it but was assured that by the move in date provided it would be newly remodeled to look identical to the model we were viewing. Renting a location in El Monte, CA under AMC LLC, Terrible TERRIBLE. They say it's remodeled- what they mean is they just painted over everything, including dog urine etc. Everything replaced in apartments are just "covers" meaning it literally breaks when you touch it. Everything is bad. They don't charge you for YOUR water use your and trash, they charge the apartment as a whole, which isn't fair. They are slum lords at best! They have crooked accounting practices which are not legal (ie seperate ledgers trying to justify accounting errors) and they love to push tenants rights laws to the nth degree. Property managers will routinely give notices for entry 5 hours before stated entry time and blame it on non-existent patrol or they will list multiple entry dates citing contractors time frame to justify even though the law prohibits unreasonable entry time - in other words they need to give a specific day with a two day... read more
Don’t rent here. Our hot water has been out all day and night. When I went to the app to submit a work order I was informed that my apartment was no longer using the portal. News to me. Then I went to the website. Shut down. Then I tried to call. Phone was shut off. Turns out the ownership was changing and no one bothered to tell the tenants. Not to mention the grounds are poorly kept and disgusting. The AC barely works and it’s over priced. Live here only if you have to. I can’t wait to get out of my lease.

This business is horrible. I live in a property that was manahed by AMC. First, the property advertises as fully gated, but anyone can walk right around the gate onto the property. We had people walk off the street to use the pool during the summer. Second, the office staff was just horrible. They made it known that they did not like their jobs. This is an absolutely horrible company. The apartment complex I live in has changed hands many times over the years and very few of the management companies have been very good, but this rental company has gone above and beyond in atrocious treatment of its residents. RENTERS BEWARE!! STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT RENT FROM AMC THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!
