We moved into Barcelo in March, per move in everything looked and seemed fine. Unfortunately the day after move in was when the horrors evolved! We started seeing bugs everywhere! Since then we still have had no help in resolving the issue. On top of this we are also being charged $200 for water which is outrageous! We have a one bathroom apartment and theres only me and my fianc residing here. We also have had issues with having work orders fixed there is no communication what so ever. Management is terrible at the sure apartments. The manager is completely unprofessional and Rude and inappropriate.. I was visiting a resident ta resident there and waiting for my Uber to come pick you come pick me up and I was approached by her and kicked off the property with all of my belongings in my hand and had to carry them out to the street in 103? weather and she continued 2 Sit there and insult me the entire time I was grabbing my stuff to get off the property and and among the Insults one of them was that she bet ... read more

Horrible management of Haven Apartments in ***********. Dont care about their residents. Had many issues, including having an apartment flooding that they literally did NOTHING about until a month and a half later of bringing it up again and again then they FINALLY agreed to give us a $200 credit and told us we had to sign some agreement to even get that credit. Said they didnt want us to try and report them or *** them over this incident.

Ever since this company took over management at our apartment complex its been horrible. We have been in the heat for three weeks and keep getting excuses on no maintenance crew or hopefully soon. The apartment is getting to 90 degrees inside and it's miserable and hard to sleep. I have called corporate and the regional manager and they don't seem to be in any hurry. They just acquired the complex I live in. So I now know I will have the same problems that all the other victims pleading for help on here, had. They already wont speak to the tenants here prior to their arrival. My lease is coming up so I know whats facing me. Im the type of tenant that has good credit, apartments managers thank me for leaving the apartment cleaner than when I received it, and always get my deposit back in full. I have a detailed record of paying my apartment balance down to zero every single month and due to an accounting error on my apartment complexes side back in December, I had a 488 dollar **** put on my account on the 9th of February, where they immediately started charging me late fees on the 10th because of that amount. I don't check my online payment portal daily and they didn't tell me about the new charges. I logged back in on the first of march and the total was now 800 more than my normal rent. They are unethical and need to be stopped. People are being forced to lose their homes over greed. I have lived at ********* of ******** in **** for about 10 years and the complex was purchased by AMC in December 2021. The first contact I had with the new management was them placing a 3 day eviction notice on my door in January for non payment of rent. It turns out that they were unable to translate the previous management's ledger properly (I had paid the rent, of course). In December 2021, AMC bought ********* Apartments (******************************************************* *****). Speaking as a current, soon-to-be former tenant, AMC has been nothing but awful since buying the place. They are hiking up rent more than 25% (way more than market rate), introducing unnecessary fees, not communicating consistently or professionally to tenants, & offering fake "services" that no one needs or wants.
