I have rented from EZ / Advantage on two occasions, both in FL within the last year. On both occasions customer service was extremely limited, including no one available to receive the vehicle when I returned it at 6:00 pm at MCO on 4/26/18. Most troubling is that they are 2 for 2 in mislabeling a vehicle and trying to oversell its category/classification. I rented a car from EZ in February of this year. I was not very happy when I pulled into the first toll booth of my trip, I went to pay the attendant and she told me the toll had already been paid by the transponder that I did not know I had. No one at the rental office told me there was a transponder and that it could be turned off, which I was told about from the toll booth attendant. So at that point I turned off the transponder. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I never ever write reviews for anything, but I have to write a review about this place. My ex boyfriend and I flew out to Denver, CO for Christmas... I had booked the car online before going and was told my total when I picked up the car would be about $200. I also decided to purchase the insurance for $9.99 a day or whatever it was. I rented a car from this company. The clerk put another woman name on my contract. Her name was Kimberly A** J**** and my name is Kim S****** J****. I have gone through so much with this in which it should have been classified as a company mistake it went further with them filing charges on me saying that I rented a car in this woman name. This was the worst experience of our vacation. We landed in Miami, where every person we spoke with were unable to answer our questions. We had to file a claim for damage to the car that our rental insurance apparently did not cover. They could not provide me with a copy of my claim paperwork because they did not have a photocopier and asked me to take a photo on my phone if I wanted a copy of my car claim. If I could put 0 stars I would!! This company is garbage! They are sneaky and underhanded! They are complete ripoffs!! This was the first and LAST time renting from this company.
