I rented a car for my husband thru P******** for EZ car rental for the dates of 2/25/20 car rented 3/3/20. I the car at a price of $231.40 for the trip for Puerto Rico. When my husband arrived and got the rental they held $780.55, when I saw the charged on my debit card I called my husband who went right back to the location and I spoke to the clerk that took care of him. 2/22/20- Dropped off the SUV with a full tank of gas as I had agreed to when I picked it up on 2/18/20. I received an email with the final billing charging me for gas. They claim the tank was returned with only 13/16 of gas in the tank! I immediately called to dispute and was told to call back in 24-48 hrs for a resolution. I did and was told no refund. I spoke to a "SUPERVISOR ON DUTY" and asked her how they calculated the tank was only 13/16 full and she said, "They looked at the gauge on the dashboard". When I explained t... read more

Receptionist was very rude. Did not go over my contract as relates to EZ pass and tolls. EZ rental car is now charging me $16.50 for a $1.50fee/toll. THAT'S A 1000% MARKUP!! HORRIBLE ETHICS

I was wrongfully charged ($250!!!) for insurance during my recent rental in Orlando. 3 times it was confirmed that I was NOT adding the insurance, including the reflection of a total of $400. Upon checking out and returning the car, I get an email with my total showing over $600!! I am furious and will not settle until I receive my $250 refund. EZ- Rent a Car has not been helpful and said they would just refund 20%. NO way. I did not sign up for it and was lied to at some point and I want my money back.

The only reason this is not a 1 star review, is because of how understanding and helpful the customer service agent I dealt with was when I called to lodge a complaint with the company. Aside from that this was the single most underhanded experience I have ever had with a car rental service. I really hate having to say this but E-Z Rent A Car has dishonest policies and practices. We have used them for years, 3-4 times a year out of the MCO location, and the last 3 times we have run into issues with their toll transponder. We NEVER opt to use it because it is far less expensive to pay the tolls out of pocket. We ALWAYS make sure that the transponder is in the Off or Closed position (depending on the model). If I could leave 0 stars I would. These people are absolute scumbags. We booked through Expedia and got a Full Size SUV, when we arrived the car was not 4 wheel drive, and we were forced to upgrade. We were promised free gas and a $200 discount. We received neither. In fact, we were charge $8.99/gallon per gas! You cannot speak to anyone at the location and their centralized help desk is completely useless. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!

E-Z Rent-A-Car uses affiliate locations but will not respond to complaints about them or stand by the contracts or policies on their website. I rented a car through E-Z's website from the Toronto International Airport. The location is actually well-off the airport, which isn't made clear from the website. As all the other customer reviews, this company clearly aren't looking for return customers. I got charged for a toll fee, despite having a Sunpass that was active on my window. It didn't work as I was going through, but the toll agent noted I could pay by the invoice that would come through from the car rental agency. E-Z car didn't even give me the opportunity to pay this invoice and just charged me a fee. As with all others, avoid his company.
