It's sad how sometimes it seems that the VA could care so little or do their best to not give a damn about someone or about a person's time. 3 times in a row now, twice at the Leavenworth va and just recently at the kc va, I have been forgotten that I was in a patient room or have not just been forgotten or passed over but another patient who came in after me, was taken in by the doctor before me. More like loathe. Today I spent my entire lunch calling trying to make an ortho appointment. Got pinballed back and forth for an hour and actually talked to ortho. Last year (after knee surgery through the VA) I wanted to make an appt to talk to ortho about my other knee and had to go through the process of seeing my pcm for the referral, the ortho nurse twice then ortho doc in hopes of getting relief. Finally after 3 months the ortho doc said, "you're too young for that. Have you tried vitamins?". This is no where near the ... read more
Stop wasting our time by scheduling appointments and having them sitting in a waiting room. 30 minutes later is too late.
I've been on the phone now for over 2 hours and hung up on twice. I have MS and have been trying to schedule an appointment, because I've had multiple relapses in a very short amount of time. I haven't had a relapse in over 9 months and I've had 3 within just a few months. They're growing in severity and I just want to see a doctor. I think the VA goes above and beyond,my Dr Sumulong -Tomacruz she has been extremely thorough and her entire nursing staff,the place is always spotless, always see me when I have appointments I had ct scann yesterday it was very professional,very up to date and clean .I hope that Dr Sumulong -Tomacruz gets a praise from someone thank you VA, very much.
