I can only speak of my own experience which is this- reception staff are clearly under pressure but I haven’t had any negative experiences and most seem really happy to help. I had a lot of issues in the past year and Dr Wilson was amazingly supportive. The appointments system isn’t great but that’s not the fault of the staff- other surgery’s do have a better system which the management should look to implement to take off the pressure of their team. The appointment system is not effective. You either have to call over 100 times to get through, only to be told there are no appointments available, or you take time off work to stand outside in the cold, only to find out that you weren't far enough up in the queue and all appointments have been taken within 10 minutes of the doors opening.
BEWARE DO NOT REGISTER WITH THIS GP PRACTICE registered with this GP practice in August 2024 and after visiting once I will be changing my GP ASAP Weeks ago I asked to speak to a doctor regarding coughing up green mucus temperature and rattling in my chest and wanting an antibiotic I was instructed it was a viral I had by reception and to go and take paracedamol and a lempsip and if it continued to ring back the following week after having it for 3 weeks and all I wanted was to speak to a GP regarding an antibiotic Today mon... read more
