My mother was there for total knee replacement. Her nurse both days must have been mere weeks on the job and was so unsure of herself it was almost scary. My mothers nerve block started bleeding profusely before we even left the hospital, but was told it was normal. 4 hours after discharge we were back in the ER due to her bleeding and pain levels. The ER staff were absolutely horrendous save for the DR and nurse in back. They allowed vehicles to be parked at the entrance, talked about my mother saying "she is a drug seeker"... read more

I had back surgery at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center nine weeks ago. My care was excellent from the beginning to the end. I actually was taken to a different hospital in the area by EMT. I laid in that ER for 3hours and was not given any tests to try to find out why I was in so much pain. They discharged me in the same shape I arrived in. I later went to Lake Norman and an MRI was performed finding a herniated disk. This prompted surgery and pain was gone immediately. Thank you Lake Norman doctors and staff for providin... read more
