NOT HONEST PEOPLE. They asked for my final payment, knowing there was a serious breach on the Lancaster canal and their boat would not be available. They owe me £600 and will not refund me, dispute their T&C ( section 13.2 on their web page states an alternate date, OR refund will be given if the boat becomes unavailable for any reason.) Hi me and my Husband Roger, took a trip with ducklings narrow boat in August for 4 nights. On arrival June and Nick showed us around the boat , they thought of everything, biscuits, wine ( nice Touch) tea , coffee, sugar, milk, toiletries, towels and bedding, everything you need to get you going, there was nothing you would need or fault from start to finish. Would definitely recommend using this company for future boat hires. Nice people, really friendly and helpful. They make sure that you know everything about the boat before you sail away, even come with you a little way along the canal to see if you're ok handling the boat. Waterproofs are also provided in case of bad weather. They have thought of everything 😊
Just back from a great week on Duckling Narrowboat. Lovely comfortable boat and Nick and June had even left a welcome gift of fresh flowers, wine and cookies. We would thoroughly recommend this to anyone contemplating a canal holiday. Pete and Louise
Just had a lovely relaxing week on the Lancaster Canal aboard Duckling. Very comfortable and well fitted out boat. Excellent shower area, well equipped kitchen and versatile seating area. The boat was very easy to handle and Nick and June couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Would fully recommend.
