When I visited Austin w/my husband for our 20th wedding anniversary, we went inside the Driskill & it is breathtaking. I'm sure for the holidays it is so much more.
The historic elegance of this establishment speaks for itself! The people who make up The Driskill personnel are professional, delightfully friendly, and quick to adeptly assist guests and visitors. Pet friendly and welcoming, The Driskill is a great experience for the whole family!

Impeccable service from the minute the valet opened my door. Classy staff. The suites are huge and comfortable. The bar and location were terrific. Highly recommended.

My wife and I celebrated our 12th anniversary at the Driskill this past weekend, where it was exactly 12 years ago we stayed in the honeymoon suite. I wanted to say that the service was exquisite, the 1886 breakfast was excellent, the hotel was excellent... and we even appreciated our bellman warning us that we were staying on the haunted 5th floor! As a finishing touch, our Guest Reception Agent, Tyler Lewis, had a Driskill snow globe (actually, a "bat" globe!) sent to our room as a personal "thank you" and "congratulations... read more
