The Driskill is fantastic!! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel special. There was a problem with PBS one Sunday night, so I missed Downton Abbey. I noted that I hated missing an episode, so what showed up in the mail at my home a week later---Season 4 DVD of Downton Abbey. It's an amazing hotel. Stay there!! I will be back.
Not only did the Driskill hold our to-go-food and luggage when our room wasn't ready, they also had a mini fridge brought to the room to store it in. Above and beyond!
This place has become our family's go to for celebrations. Engagement, birth announcement & gender reveal. Can't wait to make more memories here. The customer service is astounding.

I think the driskill hotel should do the ice bucket challenge for ALS awareness and challenge other Hyatt Hotels.

Those five stars do not include a hotel stay, to date. I have not yet had the pleasure nor the budget to do so. They do, however, express what I have experienced of the Driskill so far... The hotel's exterior defintely stands out in the city otherwise filled with newer buildings. It was fairly recently restored and it glows. The lobby is impeccably appointed.
