I believe the support here provided by SIL/Lifeways staff and management is dangerous, negligent, corrupt, manipulative, malicious, defensive, lack empathy and common sense, training and general knowledge of mental health. I would recommend you don’t move here if you can help it, it has done the opposite to recovery and independence for me. I feel there is no support what so ever and I believe that I nearly di3d because of this placement. only care about money, no empathy and no care. no training apart from training on things they “can’t say” and how to press the carbon monoxide alarm button. staff on the floor are mainly nice but they’re majorly short staffed most of the time 1 staff - 13 service users and constantly stuck in “muddy waters” because of what management allows them to do or say under the guise of “independence”. the company is “SIL”, where is the S in SIL? awful company and awful management that lacks any consistency or contingency and never st... read more
