The previous poster's comments were an excellent summary of my personal experience. Dr. Winegarden seemed to make hasty generalisations and rely on preconceived notions instead of performing an individualized assessment and treatment plan. In his defense, he appeared very intelligent and current with his discipline. I would not recommend Dr. Winegarden primarily due to his lack of professionalism. My perception is that his preconceived notions interfere with him making an unbiased assessment of a patient's condition and appropriate treatment methods. He is also extremely slow to respond to messages and other requests, even in times of relative crisis. Having been with several other doctors over the course of my life, I regret going to see him.
