I'm currently his patient at Fairview SouthDale in MN and I’m on a hold. A few of us patients would very much like to start a class action lawsuit. I'm available at DanHedlundFV@gmail.com.

I am 46 years old and have been mentally ill since the age of 15. I have never met a more rude and arrogant person in my life. I am a shy and forgiving person. I always assume several reasons for someone acting icky and give the benefit of the doubt. I was very surprised to find myself crack and lay into this guy during an appointment. I was asking a question and smack in the middle of it he interrupted with a big sigh and said "o.k. even though we've been over this at least 3 times, I'll try to explain it to you again"... a... read more

I was hospitalized & saw Dr W after another Dr who was a complete jerk. Sadly Dr W was the better of the two. He didn't make rounds until almost noon. He did the "think of your pet" line on me & another patient. He talked 97% of the time about himself & drugs. Thankfully no seroquel for me. No change in my meds which shocked me because I'm only on 2 & all the other patients were on at least 10. Some in the high teens. He let me go a day early from a 72hr hold which is the only reason I didn't give him a "worst" score. I have... read more

This guy is known as "Dr Seroquel". I think that he gets a huge kickback from the drug company. The times that I saw him his standard line was "Think of a pet that you had as a kid, when you feel yourself getting depressed, think of that pet and it will pull you out of it." The guy actually fell asleep on me 3 different times. NOT a good choice...

The overall feeling i got from this arogant unprofessional dr was that he was just going through the motions in order to bill my insurance and pad his retirement. When a prescrption didn't work rather than replace it he just added another. He had me on so much seroquel durring the day i could barely function. He actually told me once that speaking to me was as interesting as talking to a wall, how's that for a psychiatric approach! His waiting room was full of patients all waiting hours for him to make an appearance and then... read more

I went to this Dr. twice. I waited over an hour for each appointment and felt he was very unprofessional in all aspects of our interaction. I was referred by my insurance company, and in the end, they did not pay for the visit, so it was bad all the way around.

Simply awful. Arrogant and rude. Unprofessional and very poor people skills. He in my opionin had no ability to take a patients feelings, opinions or thoughts into account.I got the feeling that he thought patients were idiots and he was the almighty doctor who treated people with contempt. Very hasty in his diagnose and depended on a very narrow range of treatment options. If you had anxitey he'd prescribe Seroquel, if you were depressed he'd prescribe Seroquel, If you were chemically dependent, he'd prescribe seroquel. If ... read more

Have seen this doc 5 times and always waited between one and three hours to be seen. Always got the same standard lecture and I didn't say much of anything.

I saw Dr Winegarden nearly 10 years ago, and did not find him to be be super helpful or insightful. I also felt there was no relationship building, that his decisions were very hastily made, and he had little time for interaction.
