This office over medicates. I was given more and more opiates and began to feel even worse. It was never explained to me how opiates work (one of the PAs seems unknowledged...definitely has no empathy.) After they get you on these meds, they treated to start cutting me back! Office staff changes every month. Worse staff I have ever dealt with. They over book and I have waited 2 hours. Don't go here!!
dr. Kozmary after 10 years mostly with Kristen his new urine test said I took dilaudid. I never heard of it. He did not fire me, It really had me upset. Then after talking to other people while waiting they also were told they tested positive for dilaudid, I never said the drug name he said I tested for they told me the name. I even asked if it was a test. I am reading long time patients are being let go because of this situation. I am sure he is letting go chronic pain patients that cannot do surgery or injections anymore. ... read more
He's all about the steroid shots,and applasions big money and pushing pills ..
I'm treated well. Yes it is frustrating to wait, but once I'm in, it goes quickly. I don't mind the drug testing, I take my meds as I'm suppose to.
He gave me a series of Epidurals without Floroscopy - I had scar tissue & meds hit my spinal cord causing spinal infarct - my lower legs still are unsteady from this.
Dr. Kozmary is one of the nicest and most caring pain management Dr.'s I have ever encountered in the 17 years I have had to see them. He listens to you. However, you won't be able to take advantage of that kindness because he's intelligent enough to eliminate the drug abusers with urine firsthand i have been in ear shot when a patient is complaining that she was refused any more service because of medications found on the urine test. Dr. Kozmary is one of the best doctors out there. He has an amazing staff that are helpful and knowledgable. I have been a patient for years and yes they recently had some turnover but the new staff is great. the office is running smoother and the wait times are picking up. Yes i have to do urine test but as long as you are following the rules you shouldn't have to worry. anytime i have issues i will call Kevinann and she always takes care of the problems. Jose, Michelle and Glen are great too!
I have been going to Dr Kozmary since 1998. He is a very thoughtful and caring Dr. who wants to help you get the relief from pain which you require. as a long term patient of his I do recommend him for your pain management needs. I tried many different doctors through the years to help improve my situation but there has been no help like with Dr K. he does change his staff from time to time which can make wait times substantially longer. however overall his office does run pretty smoothly and he cares for your well being. af... read more
Dr Koz is wonderful, never crabby, truly cares about his patients, even asks how the family!! I had injections after a car wreck, an meet him 3yrs ago for this, and Still with him, Staff are nice,Jose is Great an always cheerful too. Doc and staff are top notch and refer them 100%, It's nice to see that when you walk in Doc is always Smiling, great bed side manner, NOT A STUFFY OLD STAFF AN DOCTOR THAT IS TO BUSY THINKING ABOUT 5pm to get home,or to golf coarse.
