So easy to get an appointment - so much better than Kadlec! Dr Boon's colonoscopy was gentle with an easy recovery. Kim Larson provides outstanding follow-up service to her patients. Dr. Boon and his staff at Digestive Health Center have always been kind, respectful and efficient. Due to family history I have had three colonscopies at the Center. They have identified pre-cancerous tissues twice. They are good at what they do and don't treat you like a number.
Doctor is very thorough in explaining procedures, outcomes and always asks if there are any unanswered questions. The doctor and staff are caring and friendly. Most importantly I felt heard.
Yes. Dr. Boon has a procedure for removing hemorrhoids without surgery that I highly recommend. It's called "banding". The procedure is simple and relatively painless. A few ibuprophen and back to work you go. If you have bothersome hemorrhoids, please see Dr. Boon for a consultation. You won't be sorry.
I would give a zero star rating if I could!! My mother is a cancer patient and was referred to this doctor for a colonoscopy. This office wasted 2 weeks of our time waiting for the nurse to review our referral, never got a call back so I called today. They refuse to take her as a patient, stating that she had seen Dr Boon in the past then saw another gastro doctor. Dr Boon and his staff were very friendly and efficient, he was great at explaining everything and very thorough! I can’t say enough and would definitely recommend Mid Columbia endoscopy and Dr Boon! You will feel very cared for and it makes a somewhat uncomfortable procedure much better! They give great information after and you will be well prepared for success!
My husband and I are so happy with Dr. Boon. I have had high liver numbers for years but he is the first doctor to explore what was going on with me. After years of chronic diarrhea, he got to the bottom of my problem. Fatty liver! With a diet change and exercise, I have lost weight and feel much better. I will continue my walking and mostly plant based diet with fish and chicken. Thank you Dr. Boon for caring for me in such a compassionate manner. I highly recommend him!!
