No rush, this doctor took time with me, not only putting me at ease, but handling lots of detail. No corners were cut, nothing was rushed, and her questions were absolutely spot on!
She was very helpful with my decision on my surgery. She answered my questions that I had. Very professional. She made me feel comfortable about having my surgery. My surgery went really well. Recovery has been good. Thank you, Dr. Smitherman.
Dr. Smitherman operated on my back in 2020 insert rods and pins. Within hours I was up and walking for the first time without pain. Since then I walk 2-3 miles a day. Not bad for being in my 80s.Since I have shared my story and referred others to her . No horror story here, only excellent success.
Dr Smitherman was very pleasant to work with, explained everything in a way it was easy to understand. I would recommend her to anyone who has issues.

she is great person, she explained and and comforted to me and my family before and after the surgery, of course results came out great too on my brain surgery. I am totally satisfied.
Dr. Smitherman detailed my condition in professional, yet understandable, terms. Dr. Smitherman explained to me in detail my radiographic results and why I am experiencing the pain I have and potential fixes to address it. During the conversation I never felt rushed and all my questions were welcomed and addressed to my satisfaction. I appreciated her empathetic approach in treating me as a person and not a number and I feel fortunate to be a patient of hers.
Dr. Smitherman is just a wonderful person. She just made me feel comfortable. She’s great to talk to surgery was not an option for me, but she changed my mind.. she put me at ease with her smile the way she explained things and just her overall personality she made me feel like I could trust her. I can go on with rambling words, but what I will just say is that she’s the one.
