She was condescending, arrogant and worst of all did a rectal exam with an instrument without asking my permission or telling me what she was doing. When I told her that I was interested in alternative treatments and not surgery right away, she left the room abruptly.
This has been my experiences for 3 visits. I am still debating on Dr Lorenzo and going forward with her quick and rushed options she has given me. I have read many bad reviews on her. I can relate to lots of these bad reviews. She doesn't show compassion, she rushes through the appointment and doesn't seem interested in hearing much of anything from the patient. She sticks you in a room to watch a video and that's it, the video is doing all the talking for her. She's on to another patient. Listen and answer questions is defi... read more
Dr. Lorenzo has little compassion and seems only interested in getting through the appointment. She follows a strict script and doesn't appear to like being asked questions. I was nervous and said so and she responded in an accusatory manner instead of with sympathy. Has she forgotten that gastro-intestinal issues are difficult for most people? Has she forgotten her patients are people? As many have commented, I had to watch 2 videos with no additional time to ask questions. She also suggested the cotton ball to keep leakage... read more
I would have preferred Dr Lorenzo’s explaining the procedure to me personally instead of sticking me in a room to watch a video on a tv screen. No way to ask questions. By the time the video was over she was on to the next patient. The video was not a replacement for interaction with the doctor. I really had no idea what I was signing up for. Also I was not prepared for how painful the procedure was. She seemed so robotic when speaking that I never felt like there was a time to say anything. I don’t think developing rapport ... read more
Receptionist staff was wonderful & courteous. The nurse who took me & my son to the room was professional & courteous. We were never advised we had to wear a mask during the 45 minute wait. Once we were in the room, the nurse came and took my sons vitals & was courteous and professional. I stepped out to use the restroom, upon returning a nurse at the desk asked if I had a mask. I told her I did have one and it was in the room. She replied in a very rude tone, “Well I suggest you wear it.” Once the Dr came in she walked with... read more
Dr. Lorenzo made me feel comfortable. She took her time with explanations without a lot of medical jargon. She is caring and helpful. I am also very impressed with her foundation that hosts the Rump Run every year. The money raised from this project pays for colonoscopies for those who do not have insurance or the ability to pay.
Dr. Lorenzo is arrogant and talks down to patients. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 10+ years. I'm 35. She told me that "my problem" is that my expectations are too high and that I have to accept that I'm never going to feel like I use to. She tried to show how I was overreacting by comparing me to other patients of hers. Told me others would be thrilled with my test results and others my age can't work because of their issues. I reminded her that I've been out of work for 2+ years due to my health. She minimized m... read more
excellent! I have an ongoing problem, a disease that does not have a cure. Dr. Lorenzo is always there for me every time it comes back. She takes care of me quickly and compassionately. I can tell she really cares!
Dr. Lorenzo is compassionate and kind. You can tell her office staff feel this way, too. I had a very private problem and they made me feel at ease. My problem is fixed and I am back to my normal life. I am so grateful!!!
