These arrogant morons wouldn’t allow me make an appointment. I had 3 of my vertebrae fused by a USC doctor and need to have yearly checkups. I’ve moved to this area and when I called I was told, “He is a level one trauma surgeon and doesn’t check up other doctors work.” Well excuse the crap out of me for needing a new surgeon in the area. I guess thanks are in order for saving me money and frustration.

Very disappointing. I had waited for weeks for this appointment. When I called I asked to schedule with Dr Grew as he came recommended. I never saw him. I saw the PA and was never told that I would not be seeing him. I called and the office manager could not explain it either. I could have chosen any other ortho and may.

So pleased with his care and professionalism. In 2002 he performed knee surgery that ended up being arthoscopic because i still had my ACL that the MRI said was torn. Dr. Grewe determined that I still had mine and determined to not replace as he felt my own was a better choice. I also had to have a steroid injection in my should due to a long term issue, my shoulder is almost good as new. i was impressed with how he explained what was wrong with my shoulder in a way that fixed it. Went in with right neck and shoulder pain. I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder and given an injection. Was told that frozen shoulder can cause the neck pain and to come back if it didn't get better. My shoulder got better but not my neck. Went back in and he didn't have any suggestions. Maybe see a different Ortho. I asked about an MRI and he said "Those don't show anything about the bones." Basically that an MRI was useless. Went to my naturopath and she got me an MRI which showed a he

I came to Dr. Grewe for a second opinion for the pain in my knee and after a visit with another orthopedic (Fracture Specialists) that left me feeling like I was being rushed into surgery and not very confident with the other doctor's abilities. Dr. Grewe and his team were wonderful! Dr. Grewe took his time in answering all of my questions and explained exactly what was needed for my torn meniscus. He understood that I was a runner and played tennis and wanted to get back to my activities asap

Dr Grewe was the fourth orthopedic doc I saw regarding an unusual knee ligament injury. The previous 3 were uncertain as to the injury or the repair. Dr Grewe knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. I am still in recovery, so results are TBD. However it is progressing well and I am very pleased to have found the right expertise. His PA Scott Beyer is similarly knowledgeable. Both Grewe and Beyer take time to explain issues carefully. Very good experience.

I have had 5 arthroscopic knee surgeries for a torn meniscus over the last 20 years. Dr. Grewe did number 6 and this was by far the easiest of all surgeries for me. Dr. Grewe and his staff are excellent at assisting with decision making and letting you know what you can expect after surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grewe to anyone who needed to see an Orthopedic surgeon.

Very happy overall. He did 2 TKR's for me and i wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
